  2. I have received a lot of messages asking about the future of the forums once my car sells. Well today it sold and will soon be on its way to its new home. With that said, for the forums, there is more information under 'Announcements" titled "Future of the Forums' you could also copy and paste this link: http://www.trabantforums.com/threads/future-of-the-forums-donations.1762/

The seats are too old for an '86, and the steering wheel? Plus, the aluminum lettering is non-factory, but hey, it's a nice looking Trabi otherwise. Would be nice to have an under the hood view, too.

    $9.500? Hmmmm....optimistic seller.

Nice car, but about $3,000.00 high in my opinion.

Yeah.. There is some wear to the drivers seat as can be evidenced in the photos and there are some notable blemishes on the paint. According to it's number plate, it was deregistered in 2016 which is presumably when it was imported

Roger, they continued to install lowback seats in Trabants destined for export to Hungary.

I got mine that was registered in Hungary, also with the low seats.
