  2. I have received a lot of messages asking about the future of the forums once my car sells. Well today it sold and will soon be on its way to its new home. With that said, for the forums, there is more information under 'Announcements" titled "Future of the Forums' you could also copy and paste this link: http://www.trabantforums.com/threads/future-of-the-forums-donations.1762/

Finally my Trabant is painted and registered.
It is a 1988 and was imported from Dresden 2006. The paint was in a pretty bad condition because it had been standing outside under a tarpaulin for ten years.
Maybe it is the northernmost Trabant on the road. I live at 68 degrees north.
In Norway there are 76 Trabants registered but only 52 with license plates

Cool. Looks nice. I like the Tabant blue.

A metal car probably would have fared worse under a tarp.

Looks good, especially with the white trim.

Nice looking motor. At least you won't have to worry about freezing coolant, during your cold winters.
