  2. I have received a lot of messages asking about the future of the forums once my car sells. Well today it sold and will soon be on its way to its new home. With that said, for the forums, there is more information under 'Announcements" titled "Future of the Forums' you could also copy and paste this link: http://www.trabantforums.com/threads/future-of-the-forums-donations.1762/
  1. hello everyone... my name is Bill and I am a potential 601 owner. Am joining this forum to exchange ideas and information about Trabants. I am also rehabbing a house in Saxony and wish someday to stop leasing Fiat 500s and start owning a Kombi. The simplicity of the car is very appealing. Plus I wouldn't have to worry too much
about scratching or dinging it (a little).

Living in Saxony you should have no problem locating a decent 601 Kombi. And you won't get stung for the DHL charges for shipping every time you order parts, unlike we do in the UK and the US. Welcome to the forum.
