  2. I have received a lot of messages asking about the future of the forums once my car sells. Well today it sold and will soon be on its way to its new home. With that said, for the forums, there is more information under 'Announcements" titled "Future of the Forums' you could also copy and paste this link: http://www.trabantforums.com/threads/future-of-the-forums-donations.1762/

I just recently returned from a trip to Germany with a new love of the Trebant. I had the opportunity to drive one through Berlin and I knew I had found the classic car project I had been looking for. If any one hears of any Trabi's coming up for sale in the New England area please let me know.

By the time you find one for sale in NE, it would probably cost you the same to buy a nice one in Germany and import it here. You can still buy, import, insure and register a good one for under $6000, if you take your time and choose wisely. Far cheaper than buying most classic US cars.
