Thank you for that. Another member on here also said it would be ok, but i was not sure how long it would last. If you have used the 6v for two years then i don't think i need the 12v starter as back up. Andy.
Just don't work the 6v starter with 12v power for more than 5 second bursts. It should last a long time then you can invest in a replacement 12v one.
Do you still need one, as I have one Andy?....1 NO. 12 volt-type....Dry stored, but never tried, since I obtained it with some other bits/bobs a year or so ago! Regards, Ian
