Okay, i'll call them tomorrow and see if they can hold us a spot. November 3th is the date?
Okay it's all set. Nov. 3 6:00pm party for 25 people at the Old Europe.
Looking forward to it!
So, do I need to tell the Museum- ahead of time-I'm bringing a trabi? Or just show up early that day?
I'm thinking we just show up, but never hurts to ask.
Suppose I could just "happen to be driving by that morning"..
No reservation required
try to be there 8:30 to 9
Be sure to give Amanda you're name and mailing address, she may send you a Christmas present !
Can't make it again this year. Planning better for next year.
Question to all of this years attendees....
As you're driving back home....
Would anyone be willing to bring a set of Trabi seats back from DC to somewhere closer to Chicago? We can arrange the seats to be at DC, and so long as you end up somewhere closer to Chicago than DC is, I'd be happy to come pick them up.
Comrade Trabi is in desperate need of seats!
Also these seats could be picked up around VA 22644.
Hi Spooky. How did you make it home on the battery?
Yeah, but just barely...
It has been my first time in DC Parade this year. I've been driving all the way from Georgia (10h one way) only to see about 15 Trabants. My Wife told that I am "crazy" (not exactly what she said), but who cares . I had a pleasure to meet some Showman's in person and this is what I like. Special huge thanks to Andy who gives me a chance to drive his green machine around Washington DC. I didn't remember how small Trabi is inside, but had a great time.
Next year my goal is to bring mine Trabi to the public . See y'all.
Another slipshod report repeating the misinformation that the Trabant was the only East German car.
I gave him a rather lengthy interview and the reporter talked to a number of people but very little of the information was used
Great pix Doc! Thanks
