Have a look at this Youtube link about the 30 year anniversary motorcade in Berlin on 9th November just gone.

At about 2 mins 16 secs you will see me driving my orange Wartburg 353 and 2 cars behind is my mate Martin driving my Trabi Kombi TAW759R once owned by kevthebuilder on this forum. We drove them to Berlin and back over 8 days with the highlight being the Saturday motorcade around central Berlin. A fantastic event , 10 per cent of the cars came over from the UK and I believe we all made it back to the UK with only minor breakdowns. Kinda puts the USA Washington event in the shade I think. We drove around Berlin for around 2 hours with a police escort all the way stopping traffic. A fabulous day. There are a few more clips on Youtube of the event if you search.

Awesome video! I how I wish I could have been there!

I was lucky enough to be in Berlin in 2017 and saw quite a lot of DDR/Soviet vehicles in a procession marking the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution.
Quite a sight I was not expecting to see while sightseeing around the Brandenburg Gate area.
