The next car is a pre war Horch Torpedo from 1939. It had a warm water foscet and sinc, and a 6 cylinder 92 HP engine. This was the first German car aimed for aerodinamic design.

A few more pre war cars. They were very nicely arranged in an old street setting.
On this last picture you can see the whole "street". At the middle there is a white line represents the War in the time line. Just where that guy is standing...

Thi was the most expensive car available for purchase when it was new. It cost more then a Rolls!
I admit, the picture is not great, I was overwhelmed by all the cars... Read the description!

A Pre war Audi with Hydro-cable brake! It had an oil tank and an oil servo pump. The brakes were moved by oil pressure! Look at the long starter-generator-oilpump setup! Note the engine platform. It's part of the whole structure. This was on the wall as a display.

The next pictures are Trabant related.
Some East German relics:

I'm not sure if you know what does the little "S" means on the Trabant hood?
Here is your answer:
1955-1959 Sachsenring P240 and one of the two presidental limos made on the same base as the cars. 6cylinder engines and 80 HPs.... The limo looked like a junk plastic car, I guess back then noone could seen it close up anyway...

Do you see the Trabant symbol?

And at last but not least, DUROPLAST! The low quality Russian cotton whats been dumpped on the East Germans in huge quantities in turn for industrial machinery and other high tech stuff. The East German high command didn't know first what the hell to do with this garbage.... They couldn't say no to the "big brother" so they come up with a metal substitude Duroplast! You need to heat it, compress it and form it the same time. One side was so smooth that after cutting off the excess of material, they were able to paint on it right away! You can see the little P 50 (sort of the first Trabant) with a bunch of workers standing on it demonstrating how strong is the Duraplast really is.

ITS HERE!
Finally I've picked it up at the shipyard and it's on my trailer. Currently the DMV is giving me a hard time about the Hungarian title. They say that the seller didn't sign it, just like a US title should be, but in Hungary you as the owner can't write ANYTHING on a title.... Will see, they calling down town, hopefully they will figure it out...
None of the less it passed all other inspections, hoops and loops.
Someone has left the ignition on and drained the battery. I'm not sure if the ignition module survived it or not.... Once I'll get home, I'll try to recharge the battery and try to start it...

It has an N class engine. We had to pull out the real race engine before shipping because you can't bring in any modified engine into the country. N class means factory engine. It has all other required raceing modifications down to the fire supression system! Super hard and wide suspension, widened rims, Wartburg brakes, and all body seams and suspension arms welded up! Carbon fiber dash with all the race switches and power disconnects. Full rallie standard roll cage! Sparco seats but my ass is so big from the American carbohydrates that I don't fit in them.... I'll have to buy and "American size" Sparko seat now...
I'm a the main DMV office and the ladies are trying to figure it out. I've inported at least 4 vehicles so far and this have never been a problem.... Will see...
This year I only gonna go to the Power Tour with the Ttabi. I'm right before moving, and barely have any time to do anything... But if you'd like to come here Justin, I'll let you drive it...
