You are probably going to end up experimenting with friction disks before all is said and done. Plus you may want to try them dry before you lube them. More years ago than I want to count a gent I knew said he found that Masonite disks worked best on his T bucket. It might be experimenting with what you can find in the cheap pieces bin at Habitat to play with.
