Tub, Seat, And Making Me Fit.

It's well past time to make me fit. And I mean time to get back to the gym and dieting. I need to get fit to fit. I know an old man who built a seat to build a tub to build a dash to build a steering to make sure everything works out but I don't know why he swallowed those fries. I guess he'll die... et.

Front Axle And Spindle Progress

Yesterday, I worked on building spindles and will attach them to the axle today. I was shooting for zero scrub angle but felt that I needed to compromise a bit due to the steep angle. Besides, I guess I'd rather not take out all of the road feel. So, anyway we'll see how this turns out. I'll probably have about as much caster as the king pin inclination. That should help the outside wheel not lay over the wrong way during a turn. The front axle is as close to replicating the original Bugatti T35...

I'm still waiting for the front able to get bent by a local shop. It turned out that the bends where too close together. The axle will have to be spliced together if I want that exact shape. The new plan is to weld the parts of the axle to either side of some rectangle tubing, kinda like the axle you see on the real Bugatti T35. If it had to be welded together I figured I might as well go that route. Originally, I was going to put the axle through a hole in the tubing, rather than have it...
