“LIZY”
This is our 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup Week End Dirt & Pavement Track Racer.
It is a modified Stevenson:
In that, I added 6 more inches to the overall mainframes length because I am 6 ft 3 inches tall and the Cyclekart is more proportionate to the downsized inspiration cars, a 1929 Ford Roadster Pickup & a 1907 Commet Motors Racer.
I chose the 301cc Predator 8 hp engine with a Tav40 Torque Converter. Because I prefer the design of a true "V" belt for grip and longevity over the Tav30 asymmetric belt. Most club engine size are 212cc Predator 6.5 hp stock developing 6.5hp at 3600rpm, but they usually not stock and use one or all of modifications set-ups . . . with a STAGE I system, which is the RPM limiter removed, straight exhaust, and a modified intake manifold and air cleaner developing 9 hp at 4500/5000rpm, STAGE II = 14hp, STAGE III = 16 hp, STAGE IV = 20 hp and so on.
I am not interested in attending every race in the USA or Globally for any placement on a chart.
I will also stay away from City or Town events that are basically car shows combined with fast parades. I will be focusing on local Washington State events on dirt oval tracks or paved go kart tracks & or autocross events that are actual racing.
