I would have to use some 4 letter words to fully describe how cool your Alfa turned out. I like the look of your wheels so much more than the normal Honda 90 ones. Do you think they are as strong? You've probably posted it already, but would you mind directing me to your wheel source and the parts you used to mount them? PDXBryan

Hi Bryan..Thanks for your comments..Bit early for me to judge the strength of the wheels yet but so far they seem to be fine. Our roads around here are pretty rough[after about 2000 earthquakes!!] and i live on the side of a fairly steep hill so they are getting a good workout.The wheels were sourced from China by a friend who is also building a couple of karts,so i will have to ask him..Rear axle is from the local go cart shop,,hub and front axle spindles machined by my friend,,flange bearings from a company called AG PARTS in NZ..Good luck and i hope this helps..Regards Brian.

Hi David,,,The other car's are gravity racers or [soap box derby] car's i made a few year's ago..[No motor's] what you see is a Bugatti,two Auto union's and a,Bentley which i am considering turning into a cyclekart,[,What do you think ?] Cheers B.

Brian, for the start: sorry to wrote your name with mistake as "Bryan"! I visited again that thread and refresh memory! Trully magnificent vehicles! Bentley crys for some small engine - at least to make easier going up-hill, or buzzing around home on flat ground! Just one naive question: for gravity racers - is it better to have more weight and heavier driver, or opposite? Regards, Zoran

Zoran,,Thanks for you comments. I am investigating the possibility of converting the Bentley to a cyclekart,the scale is about right and if i remove the back seat i should be able to fit a motor in there. Unfortunately i would lose the drum brakes and would need to design special hubs..Not impossible though..Regards gravity racing,,a lighter car gets away quicker but if the track is long,, a heavier car will usually catch up and pass..Thanks again, regards Brian..

Brian, thank you on information! So - my weigth of 115 kg and solidlly built racer should started slow, but get speed later? Good for pensioner style of appearence! Just to find such races here in Swiss and take a look... Zoran

I love the lines as they taper towards the rear. Nice exhaust pipe, and really like the two tone alum/burgundy on the body.
