I made my motorbike in 2003, following the motorbike Peter Stevenson had from the Seventies (originally built by a friend of ours). I styled my motorbike on 1913 Triumph lines, and used a classic old Schwinn Beach Cruiser with a springer fork. Then I made all of the rest of it up! I had never braised a fuel tank before, so it came out a bit warpy, but I love it!
I have had some wonderful adventures on my motorbike! A cold January ride in late afternoon/evening ride up and back Old Coast Road in Big Sur, a run from Stoneleigh Ranch to Luckenbach TX and back (my current longest ride, at 73 miles! I came in on fumes, so I know the tank holds enough fuel for that far! The front fender came off on the way back from Luckenbach, but that was OK — I just looped it over my shoulder and under the strap of my shoulder bag!), and I put it in the car when I headed up to Jackson, Wyoming one year! That was fun, great dirt roads for miles! And no grizzlies, despite the warning signs!
Now it's in Virginina and ready to be used now that it's Spring!
