Got the front friction shocks welded up today lacking a small cross brace on each. Welded the foot box floor in, not pretty, but won't show. It did sturdy up the frame a bit. Welded some side travel limiters on the front spring mount blocks, which are aluminum. I actually feel like I'm making a little progress for a change. Seems about this time in the build it looks like you really are getting nowhere, then it all starts coming together. Nice! I'm mounting the front friction shocks a ways back on the frame underside. Doesn't help anything that way, but should a front spring break it should support the front end until you can get her stopped, hopefully preventing the nose digging in the ground and doing an endo. Those weren't fun on a motorcycle, so I'm pretty confident they're bad on a CycleKart as well.
