Full size plot

The frame on the Chrysler is a built up channel, the top and bottom flanges are 1/8"x3/4" and the web is 16 gauge cold rolled steel. The Main depth mid span is 3.25" overall, this was based on the scale and also what I thought would match the tube steel that is used in the classic method. The car was drawn in cad so that the frame could be printed out on paper as a template full size, it was also beneficial to have a cad drawing in the garage during constriction.

cad evolution

When I first started building all of my focus was on building the car. I have noticed an increase in people starting to build but limited amount of images on the design to build process, so in a process of 4 pictures at a time here is the building of the Chrysler.
